Speed With Direction...

I realized this morning that although I've been reading a ton of blogs, I haven't blogged much. It's not because I don't have things to write, it's just where to start. Since I looked back at 2007, I thought I'd take a look at 2008 and what lies ahead.

*In Velocity, we'd love to see more parent involvement. In today's world there are so many influences in a kids life. Why not be one of them? By being a small group leader, you can lead not only your child in their relationship with Christ, but be an example for others.

*In KidStuf, we're going to work on getting more "systems" in place. We were able to do a lot of that in the fall, but now we need to take it up a step. Kevin and I have been very blessed to have people step up to help in a variety of roles. Folks that do a better job that we ever could. What we need now, is more of the same...

So if one of your New Year's Resolutions was to find a place to serve at NewPointe in 08, look no further. Whether you like tech, singing, storytelling, or hanging out with kids, there is a place for you. And the best part is, we have a GREAT time!
